Cesa del Bepo Moro
fromAncestral home of the DeGrandi family since 1787 and built by DeGrandi on a rock-based foundation which to this day can still be viewed in the basement area.
After Hurricane Vaia in 2018, which greatly damaged the structure, it was decided to proceed with its restoration in a radical manner, even if this had already been planned for by the Ospitalità Diffusa project.
Restoration was not an easy task because of the desire to leave as much as possible of the old construction techniques unaltered as well as the remaining craftsmanship. Many details have been purposefully left visible for viewing so that one can admire the ingenuity and charateristic features of the era.
We would like our guests to know and feel that they are vacationing in one of the most beautiful sites in the world, a site also recognized by UNESCO.
